Antiques @ The George is an award-winning antiques centre housed in what was once Burford’s premier coaching inn, The George, in the days of King Charles II and Samuel Pepys, both of whom are reputed to have stayed at the inn.

Today, the carefully restored 500 year-old Grade 2* building is run as a dateline antiques centre hosting some fifteen knowledgeable dealers offering a wide range of antiques and collectables, all tastefully displayed across three floors. We pride ourselves in both the affordability and authenticity of our stock and carry a wide range of antiques including porcelain, glass, silver, cutlery, maps, prints, books, militaria, coins, stamps, toys, boxes, jewellery, furniture, brass and copper.

We are open seven days a weekend, only closing at Christmas and New Year.
