Annual General Meeting
The Chamber's yearly meeting for members.
Burford Fireworks Display
The fireworks display will take place on the recreation field at the top of Burford Hill. The event has been jointly organised this year by the Burford Chamber of Trade and Burford Town Council. Entry is free of charge; donations are welcomed and will help support the Burford Fire Station plus future town events.
We are also looking for volunteers on the night to help out, so if you are free and would like to help, please email chair@burfordchamber.co.uk.
Burford Chamber networking event at the Mermaid
Following the success of our first networking event at the end of September I’m delighted to announce our second networking event will take place upstairs in the Mermaid Inn next month.
Our guest speaker this time around will be George Cairns from Get AI Powers. George is an AI trainer specialising in Claude and an Anthropic Certified AI consultant. Building on the Witney talk, George will take a hands-on look at how local businesses can put AI to work day to day.
Entry is free and once again your first drink is on us. The committee look forward to welcoming you again on the night.
Burford Annual Christmas Lights at the Tolsey Museum
Come and join us for:
- Father Christmas handing out presents to the children
- Christmas carols
- The switching on of the town's Christmas lights
- Free mince pies and mulled wine and more.
More dates are added here as soon as they are confirmed.
The Burford neighbourhood plan.
Neighbourhood plan meetings and updates are listed here, so Burford businesses can follow what is being planned for the town and take part.
Meeting dates and documents will be added as they are published.
